Information You Provide
- Nickname (display name for leaderboards and tournaments)
- Email address only if you contact our support
(We do not collect age information.)
Automatically Collected Information
- Gameplay data (scores, levels completed, time played)
- Device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers)
- Usage analytics (app usage patterns, feature usage)
- Technical data (IP address, crash reports, performance data)
In-App Purchase Information
- Purchase history and transaction data

2. Third-Party SDKs and Services
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
We use Google Mobile Ads SDK ("AdMob") to show ads. AdMob automatically collects IP address (used to estimate general location), app interactions (such as ad views and taps), diagnostics (e.g., crash information), and device identifiers including the Android Advertising ID (AAID) and App Set ID for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. This data is encrypted in transit. Users can reset or delete the AAID in Android Settings.

European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland
For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we use a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) to obtain consent for personalized ads and analytics. You can change your consent choices at any time through the app's privacy settings or by contacting us.
Data We Collect Server-Side
When you use BrainBlocks, we automatically create a user account and collect:
- Internal User ID: A persistent identifier for your account
- Nickname: Your chosen display name for leaderboards and tournaments
- Gameplay Data: Tournament participation, scores, levels completed, and game statistics
- Purchase Tokens: Google Play purchase tokens for entitlement management (when in-app purchases are made)
We collect this information for app functionality, leaderboards, anti-cheat measures, and purchase entitlements. We retain this data until account deletion plus short operational backups for technical purposes.
Payment Processing
All in-app purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Google Play handles all payment processing, and we only receive purchase tokens for entitlement management and verification purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for the following purposes:
- Providing and operating the BrainBlocks game service
- Managing tournaments and leaderboards
- Processing in-app purchases and managing virtual items
